Exciting news from The Tute and November Club!
We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received funding for 'Cambois Hidden Depths,' a dynamic six-month project dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage and community of Cambois.
People of Cambois and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to be involved in the project, working with professional artists and heritage specialists towards a showcase weekend attracting audiences across the region to Cambois. All elements of the project will be brought together as part of a special event; expect films, projections, heritage displays, actors and dancers!
If you’re local and want to join us on this project now’s the time to sign up. Whether your passion lies in dance, photography, writing, or history, there's a place for you in our project. Come and find out more on Wednesday 3 April from 5.30pm at The Tute.
At this event we’ll be sharing details of what to expect and how to get involved. Local historian and archeologist Barry Mead will lead a talk on the history of Cambois as well as a chance to meet Esther Huss, local dance artist, writer Alex Oates and theatre director Joe Hufton. This is a great opportunity to sign up to the project through local groups and be a part of something special.
No booking required.
Cambois Hidden Depths is supported by The Heritage Fund and Northumberland County Council.
