Environmental Responsibility

We live in such a beautiful part of the country and such a beautiful country in the world, don't we have a duty to protect them both? And don't we have a responsibility to protect the whole of our earth from the far-reaching impact of climate change?

That's what we think at November Club.  We are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on the environment, because we believe that climate change and human activity have a detrimental effect upon the environment and upon the prospects for sustainable living for future generations. That's why we feel its important for our company to have an Environmental Policy, which we review annually and which includes an Action Plan for the activities we think we should undertake.

Throughout the year we collect environmental data using Julie’s Bicycle Creative Climate Tools. Click on this link to access Julie's Bicycle. We analyse this data and other information we collect creating our Environmental Report.  This reports informs the changes to our Policy and Action Plan.  Click on this link for our latest Environmental Report.

We are a small company and some of our actions make seem insignificant in the scheme of things, but we think that every little thing we do can help.  And we are determined to get better each year.

We have signed up to Julie’s Bicycle Board Environmental Champions Programme and are looking forward to
learning from this.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

We recognise that our work is strengthened through the inclusion of individuals from all walks of life.  We believe that we better meet the needs of our audiences by enabling them to see themselves, or their lives, represented in the work we produce. We are constantly reviewing our work and working practices to see how we can make our work more accessible to all.

Safeguarding

We work with a wide range or individuals including children, young people and those who may be at risk. Our Safeguarding Policy protects individuals who may be at risk of being harmed and provides parents, carers, staff, trustees, freelance contractors and volunteers with the overarching principles that guide our approach.

Complaints

Sometimes we get things wrong. We view complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person (or organisation) that has made the complaint.
