We’ve moved!
After 12 years of being in Newgate Street, Morpeth we’ve now packed up and are currently settling into our new home in Alnwick.
Our new building is next door to and owned by the Alnwick Playhouse and can be accessed by the main path off Bondgate Without.
It has taken some time to find the right home as Artistic Director and Chief Executive Joe Hufton explains:
“It was important to us that our new home stayed rooted in Northumberland, and when we discovered the space next to Alnwick Playhouse, it simply made sense.
The building, now owned by the Playhouse, offers not only practical amenities like accommodation for creatives during production periods but also access to rehearsal spaces. Being situated next to a thriving theatre and creative hub feels like a natural fit. ”
While our address has changed, our commitment to serving the wider Northumberland community remains the same. You can see our plans for 2025 here.

Looking forward, we’re planning to enhance our work experience opportunities by collaborating with the Playhouse to support young people interested in theatre and the arts.
Lastly, please note our holiday closure dates: we’ll be closed from 12 noon on Friday, December 20, and will reopen at 9:30 am on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
